Growing up and working across more than twenty countries and multiple sectors has gifted me this knowing about our humanity: every moment is an invitation to expand, and to express a way of being that honors how magnificent life is around and within us.
Hello, I am Joyful Clemantine,
If you are new to my worlds, I am so excited for us to get to know each other. For over twenty years, my personal journey and professional practice have been intertwined, leading me to serve as a storyteller, a federal board governor, and a consultant to leaders across the globe.
Today, I operate as an international author, systems designer, and strategic advisor dedicated to imagining how we human by being, bridging, and building the future.
My work lives directly at the intersection of long-term memory metrics, human systems design and technological infrastructure; integrating ancestral and emotional intelligence into scalable technical architectures. I design relationship-centered ecosystems that anchor advanced technical landscapes back into our collective human essence.
I believe the way we as humans create ourselves, connect with the worlds within and around us, and collaborate to achieve the impossible are the highest art forms of being human, of service, and of serving.
Guided by this philosophy, I founded 10HOUSES a global creative and collaborative ecosystem fostering belonging through innovative approaches to wellbeing as wealth.

“The plot provided by the universe was filled with starvation, war and rape. I would not—could not—live in that tale.”
“Unforgettable.”

“Riveting . . . [A] poetically written, searchingly honest memoir.”

“Wamariya’s memoir proves how the human spirit can triumph. It truly floored me.”
— Elisabeth Egan, Glamour
“Sharp, moving . . . Wamariya and her co-author, Elizabeth Weil . . . describe Wamariya’s idyllic early childhood in the Rwandan capital, Kigali, and the madness that followed with an analytic eye and, at times, a lyrical honesty. . . . Wamariya is piercing about her alienation in America and her effort to combat the perception that she is an exotic figure, to be pitied or dismissed. . . . Wamariya tells her own story with feeling, in vivid prose. She has remade herself, as she explains was necessary to do, on her own terms.”
